I Am Legend
I saw this movie in theatres a while back and my roommates and I are sitting in the living room watching it now. I thought it was awesome when I saw it initially but now that I’m seeing things again and remembering what happened, I’m noticing how well crafted it was. Well written, well directed, good cinematography and superb acting by Will Smith–as always. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 68% but if you specify only the top critics it only got a 65% which I think is ridiculous.
One critic actually compared it to the films 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later both of which I saw and both of which were standard zombie movies that provided no more content or elicited any interest beyond that of a standard zombie movie. I Am Legend was absolutely not a stereotypical zombie movie and if you’ve seen it and think it is, you need to watch it again and pay attention because every scene helps the plot unfold.
If you don’t feel this way about this movie or agree with what I’m saying, I’m sure you’ve felt with way about another movie.
